The Experience

Our organic farm is a Sustainable Living Project initiated by a small group of people in Thailand. It is run by me, Pinan Jim (a Buddhist Monk for 16 years), and my wife Pinan Tea Kumsrisom. You can help us to plant seeds, grow vegetables and pick it. Also, assist in the kitchen using the food we harvest and help with construction. We also have meditation practices that volunteers can join!

I had such a lovely 3 weeks in the project. I felt like it was my home. Owners Pinan Jim and Pinan Tea were welcoming and kind. Working was meditative and relaxed and it was good time to share life with other voluntary workers. Food was tasty and healthy, traditional for their culture and they always took care of everyones dietary needs. I got take part of local life near by and it made me feel even more part of the family. Facilities are really simple, but I liked it as I could be more connected with the nature and sustainable living.

The project is an amazing place to cool down, let your thoughts wander, and create incredible bonds with the hosts and community. Breathing the nicest air, relaxing on the afternoons, having chats while cooking with pinan Tea, going to the lake, going on adventures in the mountains or even the Samoeng market, and giving back to the community by working in the mornings, it all comes to the same name of the project which is a place to heal, your only option is to be present in the moment and live a simple life. For me it helped me change my perspective on many ways of living, I recommend.

I spent 3 weeks here! It was a really nice place, with nice nature and nice people. I learned to much, especially from Pinan Te, who showed me around and explained what the different herbs and vegetables was. Thank you to all the people I meet there. See you again.

I really enjoyed being in the project. There was a lot of fun activities to learn and do, like going to the lake, the Wi-Fi shop and the Monday market was great. Also, the food was really good and I enjoyed cooking a lot.
